Week 1:  June 17 - June 21st             MAD ABOUT SCIENCE

This is a 4 day week. No camp on Wednesday. Explorers will have a chance to participate in fun and exciting experiments while learning about the planets. On Thursday and Friday Mad Science of Southeastern Mass will be entertaining campers with an interactive show - thanks to a grant at the Mattapoisett Cultural Council. Spend the week embracing your inner scientist!!

 

Week 2:  June 24 - June 28th                  BUBBLES AND FOAM FUN

This is a 3 day week. We will be doing fun experiments and games with bubbles and foam. And slime. The games and crafts will be based on fun with bubbles and foam. On Friday Dragon Foam will be putting on a Foam Party with music and games!

Week 3:  July 1 - July 3rd                         PIRATE AND PRINCESSES

This is a 3 day week. No camp on Thursday and Friday.  Explorers will take part in an exciting week filled with scavenger hunts and games. Children will have the chance to dress like a pirate or a princess. They will also do fun projects like creating their own masks and crafts.

Week 4:  July 8 - July 12th                       SEAHORSE GIVES BACK

A yearly favorite! This week campers will learn about all the people who spend their lives making this world a better place. Special visits will be made by the Mattapoisett Fire and Police Departments. Campers will also run their own fundraiser. In previous years 30 backpacks, filled with school supplies, were donated to local children and over $120 was raised for the Jimmy Fund. and another year campers ran a lemonade stand and bake sale and raised over $700 for the Lighthouse Animal Shelter.

Week 5:  July 15 - July 19th                   AMAZING SEAHORSE WEEK 

This week campers will compete in groups to win medals! Counselors will also battle it out all week to see who wins the Mr. and Mrs. Seahorse Competition. On Friday, we plan to have Knucklebones join us to introduce and play games from other countries thanks to a grant from the Mattapoisett Cultural Council.

Week 6:  July 22 - July 26                       SEAHORSE HAS TALENT

This week will be filled with music and dancing competitions based on popular television talent shows. Let's see which Seahorse Explorers and counselors have the moves and the pipes! Friday we will have a Seahorse Explorer Talent Show!!!

Week 7:  July 29 - August 8                  SEAHORSE SPORTS

This week campers will play all different sports and games. Basketball , kickball, soccer and more. One day campers can wear a jersey with a favorite player or sport shirt from one of their own "teams". It will be a week filled with games and fun competitions. 

​

Week 8:  August 5 - August 9               WACKY WATER WEEK

Our final week of camp will be all about the water and how to enjoy it (and preserve it). Activities will be about the ocean and how we can enjoy it and preserve it! We will be going on kayak rides with the Mattapoisett Land Trust other fun adventures. The week will conclude with an end of Camp Party and waterslide adventure.
