Ned's Point
​

Ned's Point is a beautiful location for picnics, kite flying, beach goers and boaters.  The lighthouse was built in 1838 and is a town landmark that has turned into a historical landmark  managed by the U.S. Coastgaurd.  Mattapoisett residents are allowd to reserve Ned's Point for events, for more details click here.

Shipyard Park
​

This Mattapoisett Town Park is located next to the Town Wharf. At this location is a beautifully built gazebo, a snack shack during the summers, and a view of the Mattapoisett Harbor.  This park can also be reserved for events, for more details click here.

Mattapoisett Landing
​

Mattapoisett Landing is located off Mattapoisett Neck Road.  It is a great location to launch a kayak or to head out on a paddleboard.  There are bathroom facilities in the summer.

Town Beach House
​

The newly renovated town beach house now has the look and feel of the Mattapoisett Harbor community. In addition to making the beach house handicap accessible, has a new beach swingsets and slide as well.  We welcome town residents to come on down for some beachtime fun.

Hammond Street Tennis Courts​

 

The newly renovated tennis courts are located on Hammond Street. Please be sure to read the Tennis Court Board Rules and schedules prior to using these courts. The Toddler Playground is also available for town use.. Funding of the by Community Preservation.

 

Shuffleboard Court – Equipment can be checked out at Council on Aging.

 

During the summer, the courts are reserved as follows:

  • Seahorse Summer Explorers - Weekdays 9:30am - 12:00pm ( June 28th - August 10th).
